Nov. 13  Cedar River Valentine Round Dance Contest pow wow, Vermillion National Guard Armory, 603 Princeton St., Vermillion, SD 57069.  Admission: $4.00.  Motels available for drum groups that are traveling more than 200 miles. Vendors welcome please call for vendor information. 2nd annual winter Round Dance competition. Come Join the Cedar River Singers dance the night away. Starts a 2:00pm, ends whenever everyone is ready to go. Meal will be served at 6:00pm Proceedings will go in part this year to urban Indian communites for teen H.I.V. prevention and education in the city of Sioux Falls. Contest Info: Hand drum contest hand drum teams of three or more winner takes all. Big Drum round dance song contest winner takes all. Round dance couple dance or rabbit dance winner takes all. No drum hopping. Drum groups and round dance contest dancers must register by 3:00pm. You may pre register by calling 605-638-6302. Hand drum no limit big drum registration will cut off at 10 drums.
