Jan. 28-30  4th Annual Sarasota Native American Indian Festival, 3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34237.  Come experience the traditions and culture of the Native American people at Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota, Fl. The event times are 9-5 Friday, 10-6 Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday. Find handmade, authentic, one of a kind fine arts and crafts.  There will be paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work, leather work, along with Native American food. Sarasota Indian Festival is honored to have Rick Bird and the Bird Choppers from Cherokee N.C. as our featured drum and dance group this year. They will also be performing traditional Native American drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend.  We are also honored to have award winning flutist Douglas Blue Feather, of Cherokee heritage as our musical entertainment, sharing his music throughout the weekend.
